In their advertising blurb ModelWorks state that their 'bolt-together kit' can be built by anyone with a few simple hand tools and no formal engineering skills or machinery. Sounds good, I thought, nothing like a bit of a challenge and something useful to do in my spare(?) time. I'll even have a rather magnificent engine at the end of it. Clive thinks I am taking them at their word somewhat, that I'm bound to strike a few problems, - he says I have no idea what it takes to build an engine like that. Very true, I'm afraid, but it seems I am about to find out.
